Escapes offers everyone the chance to step out of the everyday and into the magic of cinema — for free!

Supported by the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding, Escapes is a nationwide initiative that makes cinema more accessible to all.

With screenings at a large number of independent cinemas across the UK, Escapes is your invitation to switch off and be transported into stories on the big screen. From exciting previews of new films and beloved blockbusters to thought-provoking documentaries, every visit offers an opportunity to escape. All screenings include descriptive subtitles, so everyone can enjoy the experience.

Our Land: Through organised ‘mass trespass’ events, the Right to Roam movement sets out to increase public access to nature, but finds itself in conflict with England’s landowners.
